Mick McLean Currently MD of Technologia, Mick has an extensive in-depth knowledge of many aspects of the electronics and ICT sectors. He has a background in economics and science and technology policy gained initially at the Science Policy Research Unit and the OECD.
Mick has considerable experience in high technology investment and venture capitalism gained at Generics Asset Management and as CEO of Technical Investment Services. He has substantial writing and editing experience – he is the author/editor of eight books and was editor of a weekly newspaper Electronics Times for over a decade.
Mick is an experienced project manager. He has worked in consultancy for nearly twenty five years and has managed hundreds of projects involving policy guidance, strategy, technology and market analysis, business planning, economic evaluation and due diligence. He has also managed practical multi-million research projects in, for example, polymer modelling and electronic materials testing.
